Career & Wellness Coaching for a Joyful, Balanced Life
"You don't have to be great to get started, but you have to get started to be great"

The International Coach Federation (ICF) defines coaching as "partnering with Clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential." I like to say that I build relationships that empower people to bridge the gap between “thinking” and “doing.” No matter the client, their goal, or our relationship, I have a few guiding values that dictate how I work.

I believe in …

NONJUDGMENTAL CURIOSITY – We so often beat ourselves up for “failing” without seeing the gift within each “failure.” I love to approach each session with a curious mind. Say you didn’t achieve the action steps we defined. That’s not only okay, it’s great! It gives us an edge that we can explore, a chance to uncover more information about potential barriers, and an opportunity to create new, more sustainable action steps with our newfound knowledge.

AUTONOMY – You are the expert on your own life and lead the charge towards your goals. My role is to guide you to uncover your own inner wisdom and set action steps that work with your unique personality and reality.
HUMOR – Behavior change is hard! I think it’s crucial that we add in a little warmth and humor along the way.

FUN – Let’s be real here: you can’t make yourself do something you don’t find at least a little bit fun. Whether it’s the activity itself, the path you're taking to get there, or something unexpected you uncover along the way, I am always on the lookout for how we can bring in fun and avoid self-deprivation.

GROWTH MINDSET – I strongly believe that talents and skills are not fixed and can be developed. Therefore I believe, without doubt, that with the adequate preparation, curiosity, and development, you can achieve anything you set your mind to, and I hold that view as a guiding light throughout our journey together.

POSITIVE PSYCHOLOGY – Underlying all of my coaching relationships is the positive psychology framing of “What is right with you?” I love helping people uncover their unique strengths and harness them to propel their lives forward.

MIND-BODY MEDICINE – I have a deep appreciation for the mind-body connection and believe that we cannot achieve full health and wellbeing without paying equal attention to our body and our mind. Because of this, I often bring mind-body medicine tools into coaching sessions when requested, such as mindfulness or breathing exercises, and I encourage goal-setting that supports both physical and mental wellbeing.
